Head lice are likely spreading among school children aged 4-14. Lice are small, wingless insects that live and feed on human blood, mostly the scalp. They cause intense itching, disturbance and lack of concentration in studying amongst affected students.
COERR Kanchanaburi organized Head Lice prevention treatment activities in Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter, Ratchaburi Province, twice a week throughout July 2020.
Each event had 10-25 children participated to learn about personal hygiene, prevent spreading of lice, remove lice and nits and wash their hair thoroughly.
